Keibeb Safaris’ trophy quality is consistently outstanding due to our limited number of hunting clients hosted annually. Due to the huge quantity as well as the excellent quality of game on our land, you can truly hunt selectively. On average, our client take at least one trophy per day, but no limit is placed on the number of species that you may take during a specific safari period as long as only two trophies per specie is being exported at the end of the safari.
A minimum of 7 full hunting days is required, however 10 days is recommended. Cheetah, Leopard and Hyena hunts necessitate a 14 day safari. We do not suggest short safaris, as much of the pleasure of hunting as well as appreciation of the environment, is lost during a high pressure safari.
One of our qualified and experienced Namibian Professional Hunters will accompany you on your hunt at all times and may do so with a maximum of two hunting clients per PH at a time. No more than 30 hunting clients are accepted per season. Your booking will reserve you and your party the exclusive use of the area and its facilities with no other groups in camp.
While hunting and moving around in the areas, open vehicles are used, but all stalking is done on foot – we focus entirely on fair chase, ethical hunting at its best. All vehicles are in excellent running condition and completely equipped with First Aid kits, tools, two way radios, refreshments and electric winches. Our professional skinners do outstanding field preparations of your trophies in order for us to deliver them to a local taxidermy for the necessary process to be arrange with the taxidermy. All the meat from the hunt is utilised.
The Namibian trophy hunting season runs from the 1st of February to the 30th of November annually. The best season for hunting with a bow and arrow is from July to November, which is the dry season in Namibia. April to September is the best hunting months in Namibia due to the weather not being too hot.
Hunters return to camp during the heat of the day for lunch. Once rested, you can enjoy some coffee and refreshments before continuing the hunt till sunset. Namibian law indicates that hunting may start half an hour before sunrise till half an hour after sunset.
